Neuropathy Treatment

Do you suffer from pain, tingling, or numbness in your feet?

360 Physical Therapy & Aquatic Centers offers a breakthrough treatment for Peripheral Neuropathy. Anodyne Therapy is an FDA approved, drug-free, non-invasive treatment administered by a physical therapist. It is the only treatment proven to restore sensation and decrease pain in the feet of diabetic neuropathy patients as well as treat other types of neuropathy. Our program is the first of its kind to offer hope to patients for what was thought to be a progressive and irreversible disease!

How does it work?

Anodyne treatment uses monochromatic infrared energy to increase local circulation and disassociates nitric oxide from hemoglobin. The localized release of nitric oxide improves nerve function and is also an important signaling molecule for the angiogenesis and collagen formation necessary for wound healing. Poor nitric oxide metabolism is common in diabetic patients due to glucose accumulation on the red blood cells. This is a major contributing factor in poor microcirculation, loss of sensation, foot ulcerating and pain for diabetic patients. Anodyne has been most successful in the treatment of Diabetic Neuropathy but may also be able to help those with other types of neuropathy.

Best clinical results are obtained from a minimum of 12 treatments over a 4-6 week period. Infrared treatment duration is 30 minutes and is combined with a therapeutic exercise program designed specifically for the patient, which may include strengthening, balance training, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.
