Michelle earned her Doctorate from the University of Minnesota and her Master's of Science in Exercise Physiology in Duluth, MN at the College of Saint Scholastica. She is a Fellow in Training with the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy. As a Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), she is skilled with returning higher level athletes to sport and a treatment philosophy based on Functional Movement patterns. Her special interests are in the spine and throwing mechanics within the shoulder complex, as a result of previously working alongside many overhead athletes. She believes in functional independence and utilizes a combination of exercise and manual therapy techniques when treating any orthopedic and neuromuscular condition. In her free time, Michelle loves being outdoors, spending time with her family & friends, and hiking. She is also a die hard Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks fan!
